REVIEWS:
I first
heard of this band when a friend sent me this album in mp3
format a few months ago. Whoa. Instant flooring. I ordered
"the real thing" as soon as I saw it available from my favourite
online distro. URN hail from Finland and play some brutal,
unrelenting Blackened Thrash. The closest comparison I can
come up with is Canada's Megiddo. Replace Megiddo's omnipresent
dark, evil-sounding atmosphere and replace it with insane
speed, and you get URN. Not that URN doesn't have that kind
of atmosphere, but the speed overshadows it almost completely.
Thrown in a bit of Dekapitator-style insanity for seasoning.
